The only reason it matters is because the rich fuquers who fled Cuba have done a great job of infiltrating our democratic society with their corrupt kind. They have at least three U.S. Senators and a fair number of diasporadical representatives.They have convinced the sloppy thinkers of Florida and elsewhere that Fidel Castro is irredeemable and that his motives were suspect. They are spreading this lie that the ONLY reason Castro brought literacy to the Island was so that they could better understand what was required of them by the Revolution. Even if, even if, his government benefitted, there has never been any suppression of other knowledge. Today, Cubans are on Facebook and have full access to the internet. For God's sake, Finney and Brianna, Castro--as other Cuban leaders since 1865 have dictated that all cigar workers were to be read to by a lecturer who sat at the head of the cigar rolling tables.
