Musings: Protests, POTUS, Media

Protests   A message that Teenagers may prevail in exerting their right be safe. We spend billions on protecting our shores from oft nebulous bogeymen; yet the very real domestic killer is allowed to riddle us with bullets with absurd absolute abandon sanctioned by those who swore to uphold our Constitution while leaving out "...establish Justice...," and "...ensure domestic Tranquility..." Is it a just society when we allow the mowing down of our children. Have they done anything other than maintain for us troubled and anxious lives? Anti-kudos to Sayreville, New Jersey for threatening to expel any student that leaves in order to take part in gun protests. One girl had the courage to resist that authoritarianism that is so prevalent in New Jersey's schools. I'm guessing they'd be more tolerant if New Jersey were to find itself another statistic? That scenario is unlikely being that, post Columbine, N.J. was one of the first state...

MSM 2/17/2018

Am Joy wore "leaves of five"¹ on Saturday's show. Legal beagle on her show wore her puzzle broach again--this time on her left and I caught the other guest eyeing it too. I'd freak if she ever came in with the puzzle solved and hanging from a necklace. Velshi expresses fears that he's prone to dementia on Saturday's show with his temporary Ruhle replacement from WAPO (Rampell?). Velshi, I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings but it is my considered opinion that people who talk loud and fast with or without vociferousness, tend to need brain stem cell replacement sooner rather than later. All kidding aside Velsh, think of what you're asking the brain to do for several hours a day. You've been warned! There was a nice lady on Witt that must have studied under Velshi U. She was so good that she could easily transit to reading the legal caveats at the end of car commercials. Does anyone know what the heck is going on with Erin? MSM has to be careful ...

The Second Amendment in a New Light

I was pro Second Amendment not because I was a hunter or a target shooter*. I viewed it as the people's final defense--a "militia--" against tyranny. The Parkland shooting got my brain to rewire. What I finally realized is that should our government ever turn despotic, public arms---they are calling the AR15, the Minuteman's weapon of today--can do nothing against the might of the U.S. military and the other law enforcement organizations. You would need to count on support from those same organizations (as in Egypt) and the odds of that happening are unlikely as the vast majority of us are entrenched within most fibers of our society. If you own an AR15 to be used as a militia type weapon, you are no different than a Linus with a security blanket. The only way, IMHO, is to outsmart the government WHEN and IF it should become despotic and abusive of our constitutional rights. Hopefully, no one is yet strategizing for an overthrow of our government--to date that gov...
