Why is Anthony Fauci so Beloved when He Personally Helped Stick the Virus up our Collective Asses?

My wife loved Fauci even after I informed her that he was the one who pushed for gain-of-function studies stopped by Obama and reinstated by Trump.   Apparently, my wife is not alone but who can blame her or the countless idolaters of the Media who revere Dr. Fauci. People side with Tony because he seems to speak truth to power especially when he contradicts the President during the White House press meetings. I, on the other hand, wouldn't give two shits for this Frankenstein of a doctor who funds gain-of-function studies whose very purpose is to create a monster--but a monster who would befriend no one--I'm referring to Shelly's Frankenstein monster who is befriended by a blind child who can't see his hideousness (Hollywood version). However, most everyone on Earth can see Dr. Fauci's monster in all its grotesque manifestations. Unfortunately, they continue to idolize the wretched muse that played us a siren's call. No one on Earth--except me and others capabl...

I Doubt My Mother-in-Law will ever get Covid Even at 90+

You see, she has never been a germaphobe and that means her immune system is tip top. When you're not a germaphobe, you subject yourself to all manner of germs that immunize you against similar organisms. My German mother-in-law cleans her home meticulously but she has no compunction with sticking her hands into the sewer and unclogging it by hand. "But Midge, I have a snake for that. Ah, what's the big deal, she says to me." Never argue with your mother-in-law. When your mother tells you to wash your hands before supper, is she doing you a disfavor? I think so. In countries with many parasites or in our present pandemic, you want to wash them off your hands but, if not, you want lots and lots of germs to keep your immune system on guard. This brings me to the factoid that Women are less likely to get or die from Covid. Duh, obviously, who subject themselves to more germs as a parent? The one who plays in the parlor with the kids or the one who cleans their diaper...

The Commander, The Military, and The Protester

I love protests. If I had been allowed to protest homework and other indignities, I would have turned out a much better person. I had to wait until college to start expressing my 1st Amendment rights--then, against the Vietnam War. That is why it struck a dissonant chord with me when President Obama said that although Kaepernick was within his Constitutional rights to protest, the veteran was hurt by it and he, the President, could understand why. I beg to differ with the President. Unless you are part of the club--properly initiated--you cannot empathize with the other members of the group. When I condemn the doctor or the lawyer for greed, I cannot relate to their hurt feelings. When I condemn the teacher or policeman for union excesses, what do I know how they feel. When I condemn the rich man or the legislator, how can I know the hurt? Likewise, the President cannot know what it is like to sleight the government that sends a man to war unless he has gone through all the initiatio...

Separate but Entangled: A Clinton Trump Conspiracy Made in Democratic Heaven

[2016 Copyright. All rights reserved] In my last post, I speculated that Bernie Sanders would make a better opponent against the Trumpster than HillaryArtillery but that hinges on the Trumpster being a bona fide candidate. Something is this man's demeanor has caused me to reconsider whether Mr. Trump really is as ingenuous as his supporters make him out to be. No matter how egotistical you are, the office of President and its attainment by mortal men, does not lend itself to flippant remarks and actions. I know this because I have had may "if I ran the country" moments and none of my ideas are glib and all are enveloped in the golden rule and expressed in a serious vein. I've called Mr. Trump a Nazi xenophobe but that ultimate hitman was never seen joking about the issues he considered important--at least, not in any documentary I ever saw. Who would trust a hitman of Trump's ilk with access to a nuclear button? Now, you might say, "well, isn't this...
