Constraints Loom Large in Mr. Krugman's Anti-Libertarian Agenda

Vote as if It Matters by Paul Krugman (my comments in red) nytimes.com /2016/09/19/opinion/vote-as-if-it-matters.html 9/19/2016 Does it make sense to vote for Gary Johnson, the Libertarian candidate for president? Sure, as long as you believe two things. First, you have to believe that it makes no difference at all whether Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump moves into the White House — because one of them will. Second, you have to believe that America will be better off in the long run if we eliminate environmental regulation, abolish the income tax, do away with public schools, and dismantle Social Security and Medicare — which is what the  Libertarian platform  calls for. These scare tactics do not scare me more than continued wars with Mrs. Clinton; but elimination of the income tax shouldn't be in this list as Mr. Johnson has stated he wants a consumption tax with vouchers given to the poor to offset the inordinate hit that a consumption tax would have on them. On the Causes of Nocturia

If  you ask a urologist to explain nocturia, or excessive urination at night, chances are you will hear, "it's your enlarged prostate not allowing your bladder to empty." I think women are told that it's an overactive bladder. I asked Goggle's Gemini to write a report on the latest findings. It spewed out an excellent report in a few minutes. A man will fight harder for his interests than for his rights~ Napoleon That quote is very true if only when you consider that we must pick our battles (our interests) because there is only so much time to pursue relatively inconsequential battles, and with that, I hope it can apply to the gun control movement--i.e., will those who support the 2nd Amendment put their concerns on the back burner because their interests--the lives of their children--far exceed their wish to fire various guns? I think there is resolute evidence for that; just note that there were indeed massive teenager protests but for every one there, there were parents giving their permission. For those adults without children to worry about, they can worry about they themselves being killed at a movie or a concert. On a Margaret Brennen show (FTN), Emma Gonzalez said that the Parkland group preferred to focus on the issues rather than the candidates. I don't know what her thinking is but if the NRA can give ...
