Sacco 3, me 0

Commissioner Cooper and her sidekick, Maurer, sided with Sacco. It turned out that the town of North Bergen did not need to hire a law firm to keep me away from their books. Cooper and Maurer were hell bent on not giving an inch.

I asked that the state attorney general look into possible malfeasance on the part of Cooper but this is New Jersey and it's why someone like Christy will not get elected. It is said that people are more interested in the economy than they are in corruption in government but it is corruption in government that accounts for all our ills. When the economy is not going anywhere, why do you think we turn to government to fix it? Of course it's because they have the power but what we don't realize is that they always had the power to PREVENT the downward spiral but, federally, all they could do was pay Greenspan a whole bunch of money to play games with the interest rates.
He succeeded but it looks like it was just luck and stochastic processes that worked their magic during his stay as fed chairman. As for the state, all NJ has ever done is to tax and fine with a pharaoh's mentality.

If you want a real paradigm shift, try taxing only income. That way, the elected will soon be guaranteeing jobs for everyone who wants one. Everyone will pay less in rent because the landowner will not pay R.E. taxes, instead, the towns get paid by income taxes, and that means full standardized accounting--no more shenanigans by local politicians. Things like a 170,000 dollar yearly ambulance because North Bergen has a few hills that supposedly wear down a Ford F350 will be a thing of the past.

Christy did good work and necessary work but the cleanup job in New Jersey--especially Hudson County--requires constant vigilance. Hell, even our local newspapers are on the take, and our governor has all he can do to unscramble his brain after that accident he had.

What about Lonergan? Judging from his demeanor at a recent debate, I think he needs a little Preparation H to keep his mind off his itch. I'm sorry for the ad hominem but if I went to an interview looking like Lonergan, it could only be for a position as an undertaker. I wonder if his positions have any merit.
