Why Trump should not be Feared by #BernieOrBust supporters (worst case scenario).
I recently signed the #BernieOrBust pledge on Facebook in which I pledged to write in Bernie Sanders' name or vote for the Green Party candidate (hopefully, they are one and the same). However, I fail to see the hysteria over a Trump presidential win. If Bernie were not part of the Green Party and was not running as an independent, I would seriously consider Trump. These are my reasons: first, we have a system of checks and balances aimed at stopping despots; secondly, Trump is not hawkish, admires Putin, and wants a better deal with China; thirdly, Mexicans will still make it over the border--no matter what wall is put up; finally, with regard to Muslims, immigration has had quotas ever since people started coming here in droves. I will address these in more detail in the following. Our constitution has been perverted but it has always been with a wink from the other members of government.
