Who is Edward Hasbrouck and What does He Know about Mueller?

https://couragetoresist.org/podcast-draft-registration/

This man knows firsthand the intelligence and pitbull tenacity of Robert Mueller. He was prosecuted by Mueller after Mueller returned home from his stint in Nam as a U.S. Marine. The draft was in effect and Mr. Hasbrouck had courageously said that he would not register to serve in that unjust war.

Robert Mueller would have nothing to do with entertaining Mr. Hasbrouck's stand. He succeeded in his prosecution and put away several Bostonian draft resisters for months. Nationally, it was something of a Pyrrhic victory for all a draft resister really had to do was stay home--not even go to Canada--and the draft board would forget about you. What you couldn't do was be vocal about your resistance--in that case, they would still go after you.

Fast forward to today and we are again playing out a chapter in Mr. Mueller's presecutorial carreer, and judging by his CV, some may think that deep in the recesses of Mr. Mueller's mind lies another stab at the draft dodger only this time it may just be the President and his "bone spur" aversion to the Vietnam War. That war, BTW, was, according to Mr. Hasbrouck, fully supported by Robert Mueller.
Chillingly, Mr. Hasbrouck recounts how he saw no humanity in Mr. Mueller's demeanor as he doggedly pursued prosecution of draft dodgers.

This blog likes conspiracy theories and I couldn't stop myself from putting this out there, but the real aim of this post is to inform the reader that there is now a commission or panel charged with making recommendations with regard to the future of the draft. Comments from the public are solicited. I intend to suggest that numerous options be given the future registrant for national service other than military.

Thank you, Mr. Hasbrouck for your activism.
