Congrats To Putin: the Flip Side.
Quick! note on previous post. I don't have any objections to how much the U.S. Government decides to pay its employees in salary and even retirement benefits; however allowing them to retire at age 50 at sizable fractions of their regular salary is nothing short of freewheeling on the part of Uncle Sam.
The FBI, according to the present director, only accepts 5% of applicants. The draw may be service to country or sweet compensation. One is noble and the other self-serving but neither should merit the right to retire with partial salary unless disabled on the job. It just borders on the reason many revolutions are fought. They are ought against the privileged. If I have and you have, there is no reason to fight other than greed.
If bureaucrats (including defense and law enforcement) want to ride "high on the hog," they and we should ask that it be Federal law that whatever benefit is granted to the Federally-employed, also be granted to the rest of us. Not to level the playing field is to risk corruption and the continued fanning of Mr. Trump's "deep state" conspiracies.
Putin
Chris Matthews also thought of it but in support of Mr. Trump's "stupidity;" Matthews had said, more or less, "congratulating Mr. Putin is like me congratulating a WWF wrestler on his win." I, on the other hand, spin it a little different. It was just opening chit-chat, nothing more. Mr. Trump could very well have said it with a little grin on his face that Mr. Putin did not see but would not have minded if he had seen it.
So, whether Mr. Trump released the "DO NOT CONGRATULATE" memo himself or whether it was released by a member of the Military Industrial Complex who has an avowed--in some quarters--ipso facto in others--need to ensure bogeymen at all four corners of the Earth, we'll leave it to historians brave enough to immerse themselves in Trumpian-generated lunacy.
For my part, dear reader, what matters is what else was said and that is unknowable--with absolute certainty--but I can surmise along with anyone willing to remain open on motivations that it is money, clean or not. It has been pointed out elsewhere that the Russians may hold a promissory note or two over Mr. Trump that may ome due if Mr. Putin is not allowed to play with full privileges. Perhaps it is nothing more than the root of all evil playing itself out in that playground where one boy's bike is bigger than an other's--I'd call it the oligarch's club where an oligarch is someone between a mafioso head and a CEO or a dictator and a president.
POTUS
If anyone wonders what makes Mr. Trump so seemingly mired in his own excrement, the answer hearkens back to my previous post of his sociopathy. Such a person has no "future memory," that which allows the rest of us to remain out of scandal because our "future memory" tells us what it would be like if we were overly promiscuous or wheeling and dealing like a drunk devil. It is this impetuous aspect of Mr. Trump's personality that is most worrisome with regard to the use of inordinate military power. Imho, and I pray they are not "last words," Mr. Trump knows that properties do not fare well near nuclear detonations.
Potus knows when he is being duped or played and, if that happens, then there will be appeasement of the Russia-haters in the U.S., I'm sure.
MEDIA
Mr. Trump and fmr VP Crazy Joe regress; but what a person on CNN and her younger colleague don't understand about septuagenarians is that many have a mind that is as young as it ever was--if in their own estimation, anyway. Unfortunately, many regress to more puerile expressions and behavior that earn them the disdain of those who think old age is automatically an immersion in molasses that make them slow, unresponsive, and sweet for the sole purpose of elevating the beautiful youth to their sole monopoly of petulance Ironically, these two individuals will never understand ageism in their 60's for they would have moved to Florida by then before any spring chicken pooped on them. Some people are so smart, it smarts.

Yes, here we have a "civilized" youngster that can do no wrong. I'm glad I'll be dead as those younger get their penises, vaginas, and rectums measured and the data made available to the highest bidder.
Zuckerhead is in his present down slope because he railroaded his users when he went public and offered the IPO shares only to the elite on Wall St. who would be less likely to lose money because the stock price only goes upward from the IPO share price. This candy-korn head will get his recompense--assuredly. I like the idea proposed by a Senator this morning that Facebook users should be abl to "opt in" and not just "opt out." "Opt in being more proactive for the users.
