Size and other Characteristics Matter in Trumpville



Why was Comey fired? He towered over Trump, that's why. It's a no-no. That other dude that knew his job well was tall, and I suspect the administration knew all the time of his spousal abuse history but it only became a problem for him when his height got on the president's nerve, OUT. This height obsession is a conflation of the President's own tallness and NY real estate where the bigger the edifice, the bigger your status.

Look at whom he holds on to--Sessions, plenty of reason to fire him but he's all so diminutive that Mr. Trump feels he might be charged with child abuse if he were to act against him; besides, Sesssions takes it on the chin and will forever hold the distinct "honor" of being the first mainstream Republican to embrace the President's candidacy. This represents two pluses.

The short and tough-looking General Mattis stays while the bigger and better looking Tillerson goes.

Mustaches: if you have one, you're out but a white mustache will be tolerated because Papa Fred's stache wasn't white. Trump obviously didn't have a great time with disciplinarian Fred--military school and Catholic schools--Fred wasn't going to tolerate any bull from his hedonistic son. Terry Branstad has one but, as an ambassador to China, he' s mostly out of sight, out of mind.

Hair: if you have it, you're on thin ice while shiny globes like those of Wilburrrrrr and Price-is-always-right Tom, stay the course. Steve Bannon is out, not because of his hair although that would have been enough to eventually kick him out, but because he wasn't clean-shaven in any sense of the term.

None of his female cabinet members can violate Trumpian acceptance principles. Mr. Trump was not a Momma's boy but that doesn't mean he didn't harbor an Oedipal complex as manifested by failed marriages and numerous adulteries which kept him in search of the loving mother he never had. His disdain for mustachioed men supports his Freudian patricidal inclinations.

Let's recap one by one:

James Mattis, smaller and his medals don't matter being as Donald did not serve.

Steve Mnuchin, healthy hair but with saving graces of ugliness, myopia, and shortness.

Tom Price, stupid with thinning hair.

Wilbur Ross, baldy, and munchkin.

Mike Pompeo is an outlier being as you can't mess with the CIA repeatedly; however, his smarts and height may doom him yet.

Ben Carson, smart as most highly specialized people but with the stigma that his race could never usurp the Aryan Don.

Jeff Sessions, smart but small enough in height to compensate.

Scott Pruitt, dumb and greedy, a bonafide clansman.

Steve Bannon, too much facial hair and unkempt. [OUT]

Michael Flynn, hair, height, and too hot to handle. [OUT]

Reince Priebus, hair, youth, and too ethical?. [OUT]

Andy Puzder, baldy.

Tillerson, full head of hair, debonaire (for his age). [OUT]

Kushner, tall and somewhat smart, but that's what you want in your future grand kids.

John Bolton, his undyed mustache means he's not a Fred Trump type.

John Kelly, clean-shaven and generally obedient but that 'idiot' comment is an albatross waiting to take flight.

In general, if you expect to enter into Donald's good graces and you are a male,  you must be clean-shaven, on the short side, not terribly intelligent, with few follicles remaining, and White. Luckily for Donald, a mix and match on characteristics is tolerated. If you are a woman just about the only characteristic that matters is that you shouldn't be a hottie; not only would you be a distraction ala Monica Lewinsky but you might date men in the Trump camp thereby eliciting jealousy. Notice that, as far as Mr. Trump is concerned, his female appointees can do no harm (he's still trying to please his mother who famously asked, "what have I brought into the world?," or some such remark--she probably saw the sociopath)

 With few  possible exceptions, one essential must-have for any member regardless of gender  is a love of wealth disparity and its maintenance.

One curious thing that caught my eye in the pictures shown above is that Mike Pompeo is the only one with a flag showing in the background. Is the CIA the most patriotic agency? Aso notice that GOP.com has given up updating it's graphic.

I'm 57 years old. That alone makes it very hard to penetrate the job market. However, NJDOP has a website where you can browse available jobs and submit an application along with $15. I did that and I waited and waited for the process to reach the stage where the actual hiring agency would give out interviews for the position. 2 months into that last stage (the DOP said that the hiring agency had 90 days in which to interview candidates), I got anxious and decided to call the municipality. They were supposed to pick from the top 3 candidates but they told me in no uncertain terms that they were going to give it to "the person who was already doing the job." When I questioned the ethics and legality of their decision, I was told that they really hadn't finalized things. I Doubt My Mother-in-Law will ever get Covid Even at 90+

You see, she has never been a germaphobe and that means her immune system is tip top. When you're not a germaphobe, you subject yourself to all manner of germs that immunize you against similar organisms. My German mother-in-law cleans her home meticulously but she has no compunction with sticking her hands into the sewer and unclogging it by hand. "But Midge, I have a snake for that. Ah, what's the big deal, she says to me." Never argue with your mother-in-law. When your mother tells you to wash your hands before supper, is she doing you a disfavor? I think so. In countries with many parasites or in our present pandemic, you want to wash them off your hands but, if not, you want lots and lots of germs to keep your immune system on guard. This brings me to the factoid that Women are less likely to get or die from Covid. Duh, obviously, who subject themselves to more germs as a parent? The one who plays in the parlor with the kids or the one who cleans their diaper...
