Who's Deplorable?
[This blog was written back when Sessions was still A.G. I had it as a draft ever since and I'm now getting around to publishing it.] So, Mousey Sessions talks shit about how the bible says that government can do no wrong because it is, after all, an agent of the Divine. Let's say for a moment that that is true. Doesn't he know that we are a democracy wherein the top bananas don't matter anywhere near as much as a monarch or dictator; rather, the will of the majority of the people is sacrosanct. In biblical times, people had to have faith that God would choose for them an able and compassionate ruler. It would make sense for St. Paul to promote blind followers because the occasional fickle ruler might be demanding their heads. Also, Paul was a tax collector so he might have been a little biased in his respect for the state; although, Jesus may have gotten the ball rolling by saying to his apostles--when the question came up about paying taxes--that they should "r...
