CNN's Mike Gallagher, a Mic for the MIC; also a Congressman

Congressman Mike is a mic for the MIC. Just today, he went on about the failings of Maj. Gen. Qassim Suleimani and how his death was justified vis-a-vis his support of anti-U.S. forces in Iraq. Apparently, Suleimani was the man who sent many an ied to Iraq which begs the question: was it really 'improvised' if a top Iranian military general sends these?

 In moments like this, I wonder how often the U.S. collective mind thinks, "...but we had no business being there in the first place, damnit!" When you disturb a hornet's nest, do you then condemn the hornets for attacking you? No, Mr. Gallagher, 911 was not masterminded, orchestrated, nor implemented by the Iraqis or those who supported their insurgents. You know damn well who did it--our 'friends' on the peninsula, and as Mr. Trump has said, "Pelosi should have impeached Bush." This has been turned into an anti-Trump soundbite by the MSM as if to say, "of course the Dems are right in impeaching a president who commits ANY wrong; never mind that you're comparing the corpse plant (Iraqi War) to a prickly rose (Ukrainian defenses), for, let's face it, impeachment is just a case of the 'end justifying the means.'

 Politics does make for strange bedfellows and I applaud Mr. Trump's peace initiatives; but Don dons the dunce cap readily according to whim and we all have reason to fear an escalation. An escalation promoted by CNN and its MIC inclinations.

 To our beloved Pope Francis, that slap was expression of violence against humanity--not, impatience. Don't emulate St. Peter even though you wear his crown. Emulate our Lord who quietly asked, "who touched my robe" instead of getting all violently huffy and puffy about a parishioner who sought to seek an indulgence by a man closer to God than she (if we are to believe Church canon, anyway).✝

There is not a scintilla of an iota of shame in politics. If there were, Mr. Joseph Biden would have dropped out by now. Let's see if when Bernie takes off the gloves, Uncle Joe and his followers finally feel the blows. Is the Bernster capable of landing a few squarely on his nose? It is subject to debate as B.S. calls Biden a friend and he happens to be less belligerent than Pope Francis. Will he wag his finger or really slap the Centrist?

Size and other Characteristics Matter in Trumpville

Why was Comey fired? He towered over Trump, that's why. It's a no-no. That other dude that knew his job well was tall, and I suspect the administration knew all the time of his spousal abuse history but it only became a problem for him when his height got on the president's nerve, OUT. This height obsession is a conflation of the President's own tallness and NY real estate where the bigger the edifice, the bigger your status. I Doubt My Mother-in-Law will ever get Covid Even at 90+

You see, she has never been a germaphobe and that means her immune system is tip top. When you're not a germaphobe, you subject yourself to all manner of germs that immunize you against similar organisms. My German mother-in-law cleans her home meticulously but she has no compunction with sticking her hands into the sewer and unclogging it by hand. "But Midge, I have a snake for that. Ah, what's the big deal, she says to me." Never argue with your mother-in-law. When your mother tells you to wash your hands before supper, is she doing you a disfavor? I think so. In countries with many parasites or in our present pandemic, you want to wash them off your hands but, if not, you want lots and lots of germs to keep your immune system on guard.
