CNN had a piece on Brianna Keilar's show about Secretary Pompeo and how he believes that Mr. Trump is God's way of saving Israel from Iranian aggression. Never mind that Israel will now be more in the crosshairs than it ever was.

Let me tell Pompeo from Pompeii that the reason God put Trump in power was to inform Blacks and Hispanics and all other minorities that there is an element in the U.S. that would like to see them 6 feet under. AND, perhaps more importantly, that all minorities should vote for Bernie Sanders. If the first Messiah was Jewish, why not the second? Bernie doesn't appear to be all that religious but God works in mysterious ways and we should remember that Moses himself didn't want the job and Jesus asked that the cup be taken from him--i.e., Bernie's in good company.

Pompeii is going to erupt thanks to Pompeo and his "conservative" idiocy. This mussolini lacks the passion of the first but that's probably only because Mr. Trump won't permit anyone to upstage him. I heard him BS Margaret Brennan who did a good job questioning him but smart cookie that she is, lets him get away with his BS because she had Dems to counter his asinine arguments. One in particular was his stand that there was an imminent danger from the Iranian General. CNN, to its credit is seeing the absurdity of that position. Of course, mini-Hitler's SS is hiding behind the convenience of  "classified," and "need to know" BS.

My take: Bernie readily gave up his delegates--what more was he to do? Besides, I am sure the control freak Hillary dictated everything Bernie did post convention.

If the female CNN host wants to not appeal sexually to the viewers, just look and act like SE Cupp. I actually listen to what she has to say--but not that often though, I still need my ogle fix as I'm so beyond babe-magnetic.

There was a Rabbi on the show saying that Hasidic Jews are just like other Jews. Nope. When you wear crazy hats and unorthodox hair, you draw attention to yourself. I shudder to think what would happen if all U.S. Jews wore a yarmulke--and not just on holy days. The reason haters target the synagogue is that there they identify their target.

In a perfect world, garbs and hairstyles wouldn't matter but we'll always have haters and the Hasidic Jew should do as the Romans do and avoid attracting the hater by dressing like the rest of us--I mean, really, does a funky hat and curly cues make you holier? This hits on the main problem with the U.S. We are one nation under God and indivisible and that's fine but the only places you do not see racial hatred is in every other nation where the population is homogeneous. Trump's base surfaced because our laws tried to put an end to their xenophobia which wasn't finding expression. Now that they got their wall, perhaps everyone can breathe a little easier.

If the rest of us embraced those different from us and actually went out of our way to befriend them, perhaps we could build the America that would truly be the envy of the world.

❢On Newsroom and other shows, CNN has been showing that the Iranian diaspora is downright joyous about Suleimani's death. Perhaps this is true but can we really be sure that they aren't telling us "what we want to hear?" Who in the Iranian diaspora would say they considered the General a hero? If you can't find at least one, then the consensus is suspect journalistically.

A jingoist on Marquardt's 'Newsroom' show promoting
Trump's actions because "Iran's top general was "planning a very major attack."

My take: what 'top general' wouldn't leave the plans for that attack with his underlings? This would be like Hitler winning the war by taking out Eisenhower, Montgomery, and De Gaulle. A general is only as successful as the men and women who fight under him/her and the resources his country gives him. In other words, easily replaceable.

Cutting off the head of the snake only helped in biblical times. Today, with excellent communication abilities, the agenda easily continues.

Ergo, the Iranian General was killed to start a war even if Mr. Trump is not cognizant of it or says things to the contrary.

Size and other Characteristics Matter in Trumpville

Why was Comey fired? He towered over Trump, that's why. It's a no-no. That other dude that knew his job well was tall, and I suspect the administration knew all the time of his spousal abuse history but it only became a problem for him when his height got on the president's nerve, OUT. This height obsession is a conflation of the President's own tallness and NY real estate where the bigger the edifice, the bigger your status. I Doubt My Mother-in-Law will ever get Covid Even at 90+

You see, she has never been a germaphobe and that means her immune system is tip top. When you're not a germaphobe, you subject yourself to all manner of germs that immunize you against similar organisms. My German mother-in-law cleans her home meticulously but she has no compunction with sticking her hands into the sewer and unclogging it by hand. "But Midge, I have a snake for that. Ah, what's the big deal, she says to me." Never argue with your mother-in-law. When your mother tells you to wash your hands before supper, is she doing you a disfavor? I think so. In countries with many parasites or in our present pandemic, you want to wash them off your hands but, if not, you want lots and lots of germs to keep your immune system on guard.
