"And Brutus is an Honorable Man," Sayeth the President

And like Brutus, Senator Dianne Feinstein, Senator Inhofe, A.G. Barr, and others, stab Wall St. investors in the back as they sell their stocks to make or protect their tidy profits ahead of everyone else. The ethics committees MUST investigate all who were told about the economic impact of Corvid-19 and then sold their stock shortly after.

Mr. Trump must be defending them because he or his family did the same thing. But that's not to say I won't vote for him if Bernie drops out of the race. I'd rather have a baby with no avowed reach than an ornery screw-loose grandpa with ample reach to the button.

Peter Alexander was wrong about the "false hope" charges. What is wrong about telling someone that a drug with known virucidal properties is being tested? At the very least, the country's doctors and scientists know about it and who knows if one of them has useful data to contribute. Also, do you not have a greater tendency to remain calm when hopeful? The inadequacies of hydroxychloroquine against Covid-19 are to be determined; as such, it has no place in present discourse. Besides, did I not hear the President talk about a drug that showed promise?

 Aside from that, I disagree with Dr. Fauci on the need to show efficacy first before touting the benefits of a drug. This drug is SAFE. There is a slim chance that this or any other randomly selected drug could make a coronavirus infection worse and, it would be asking a lot of an agent. Releasing a  historically safe drug to the general doctor population as per the emergency FDA guidelines is, IMHO, the way to go.

Now that Bernie is (probably) dropping out, I find myself defending Mr. Trump and I can clearly see his "fake news" side of things--not that I'm going Republican in this life, though, but fair is fair.

Size and other Characteristics Matter in Trumpville

Why was Comey fired? He towered over Trump, that's why. It's a no-no. That other dude that knew his job well was tall, and I suspect the administration knew all the time of his spousal abuse history but it only became a problem for him when his height got on the president's nerve, OUT. This height obsession is a conflation of the President's own tallness and NY real estate where the bigger the edifice, the bigger your status. I Doubt My Mother-in-Law will ever get Covid Even at 90+

You see, she has never been a germaphobe and that means her immune system is tip top. When you're not a germaphobe, you subject yourself to all manner of germs that immunize you against similar organisms. My German mother-in-law cleans her home meticulously but she has no compunction with sticking her hands into the sewer and unclogging it by hand. "But Midge, I have a snake for that. Ah, what's the big deal, she says to me." Never argue with your mother-in-law. When your mother tells you to wash your hands before supper, is she doing you a disfavor? I think so. In countries with many parasites or in our present pandemic, you want to wash them off your hands but, if not, you want lots and lots of germs to keep your immune system on guard.
