So if Heat and Humidity stop the virus, Why the Big Numbers in Florida?
The answer is really simple. Floridians go from the hot, humid beaches back into AIR CONDITIONED buildings. It is there in their cool buildings that the virus thrives. An air-conditioned building mimics the climate at Northern latitudes. At night, the virus is also protected by cool ocean breezes. Spain and Italy probably have the same problem; whereas, Wuhan may have a hotter climate but with little air-conditioning.
I don't work for the CDC but, if I did, I'd ask everyone to raise the temperature where they work/live.
If you are of the opinion that the high temperatures do not affect the virus directly, read this take on how a sauna can help you avoid viral infections by increasing your immunity:
Saunas can fight illness
German research has shown that if you’ve got a sniffle, that the sauna is the place to be. Regular steam room use can significantly reduce the chance of contracting colds and flu.
As the body is exposed to the high heat of a steam room, more white blood cells are produced, which help to fight off illnesses and kill viruses. And, even if you’ve already caught the cold, steam can help ease the symptoms of sinus congestion or sore throats.

This makes a lot of sense--it's almost as if the body is aware that Summer brings more infectious agents and it ramps up the white cells; whereas, in Winter, there are fewer common non-viral pathogens.
