The MD wants to wait, and wait, and wait for the data to come in. What data? The data that shows no slowdown in the cases and that you have try something new?

Members of the public wearing ANY kind of fCW barrier, will have an impact on the spread of COVID-19. It's a no-brainer.

Get rid of that MD, Governor!

Yes, Governor, the Navy IS being overly dramatic. The data shows that virus does not survive on metal for more than a few hours and on cloth, a couple of days, and that says nothing about it's transmissibility which is probably close to nil.  If the military cannot disinfect, our enemies now know how to defeat us.
