POTUS' Hydroxychloroquine 'Voodoo' Doctor may be on to something.

Not about hydroxychloroquine although some covid patients may benefit. I'm referring to her theory that nightmares cause women to develop uterine diseases.

I believe she's on to something because recently it occurred to me that nightmares may be a means of communication between the body, the subconscious, and the conscious mind. So, it's not that nightmares cause cause bodily problems; it's that bodily problems elicit nightmares or freaky dreams.

My personal anecdote is this: at times in the past when I've drank too many beers too close to bedtime, I've wet my bed. This has led my subconscious to try to wake me up before any more 'accidents.' On several occasions, I've dreamt that I was prevented from urinating at public or other bathrooms. I would dream that if I used a urinal, for example, that the urinal was constructed in such a way that the urine would spray back at me no matter how carefully I aimed. Other similar scenarios played out in my dreams for several nights. The dreams stopped when I learned to wake myself up to go the bathroom. (I wasn't about to stop drinking).

Why couldn't dreams or nightmares be the subconscious' way of communicating with us when problems arise either in our lives or in our bodies. Are dreams of falling just the subconscious' way of telling us that we are too near the edge of the bed and may fall? Are dreams of not studying for an exam just the brain telling us that it knows we failed to complete something we had wanted to do?

Media Notes

Kelly Ripa wore a great 'corona' blouse for the second time leading me to once again award her for exemplary use of the coronavirus motif in apparel. Gilchrist needs to stop wearing his wife's apparel--just saying.

Dr. Fauci is so beloved by the media that--for his baseball debut--they stopped showing his girly throw--effen embarrassing--and started just showing a still of his 'spit ball.' before Fauci's next act, I hear he's agreed to boot camp where he'll pick up some sorely needed 'gain of function' in his pitch. Dr. Fauci, sounds a lot like Dr. Faustus; but when will the media recognize the modern one for the tragic hero that he became?

I've been reading Bolton's book and I believe it's helping with my insomnia--so, $18 well-spent at BJ's.
