If The View had any Claim to Objectivity, They Lost it Talking about Fauci
With the exception of Meghan McCain, all gave deference to Faustus Fauci and his dastardly doings. There was no mention of his promotion of Gain-of-Function studies in Wuhan and in North Carolina which, imho, gave us Sars-Cov-2. Doesn't anyone find it unbelievable that a lab which was doing coronavirus research suddenly comes up with a coronavirus which is, by far, the deadliest of all? Isn't it just slightly strange that a virus which Fauci believes spread naturally from animal to man, is now acknowledged to have also been present in Wuhan's virology laboratory.
Will any of the ladies in The View grow a pair and ask Faustus Fauci to explain to a lay audience what he hoped to accomplish by asking virology labs to create viruses that were deadly and easily spread? That, ladies, is the raison d'ĂȘtre for a Gain-of-Function study as promoted by your 'good' doctor Fauci. If he's incapable of stating his ideas simply, give it to us with all the technicalities you can muster--I'll trust decent non-sociopathic virologists to peer review his statements.
I like to tell the analogy: if a neighbor with a degree in nuclear physics starts saying that he will build an a-bomb in his basement and then, 10 years later, such a bomb goes off in your neighborhood, who's the #1 suspect? Fauci promoted the creation of a deadly virus and a decade later, he and his cohorts succeeded. To me, it matters not whether the virus escaped or was intentionally released; what should matter to every decent person is WHY create monsters in the first place; and, this really gets to me, if monsters had to be created, why wasn't the Wuhan Lab moved to a deserted island somewhere where extended quarantines were the order of the day.
I can understand why jingoists might be keeping mum these days and all I've got to say is be careful whom you spread your legs for or whom you bend over for. I, for one, refuse to get fucked by the likes of this modern day Frankenstein.
